After its premiere at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, the short film "Macanao", directed by Clarissa Duque, returns to the screens at Las Americas Film Festival.
The 21st Annual Cine Las Americas International Film Festival ran from May 2 – 6, 2018 in Austin, TX. Films were presented at three primary partnership venues AFS Cinema , MASS Gallery , the The Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center , as well as other venues in the capital city.
The CLAIFF21 program selections included a total of 126 titles: 39 feature films, 65 short films and videos, 16 music videos and 6 PSA; These selections represented the participation of 30 countries in the production or co-production of the projects.
