Carl had always had clear the contrasted style of the movie. To go through the eras of the vampire, its possesion, in a structure that alternated the times, was a challenge; the difference had to be felt, the metamorphosis, keeping the present with the notorious shadow of the possessed.

The girl’s skin and her surroundings show evil possession, the color of her face reflects that metamorphosis.

A skimming light in the middle of darkness uncovers the faces. Its fleeting pace returns them to the isolated gloom in the midst of a daze of love and guilt.

In this film the characters are linked to the land, they are covered by orange-colors, blending into their surroundings.
MACANAO
In Macanao the strong light-that bathes everything-represents absence. Brightness becomes an unattainable entity.

To give an idea of that time period we decided to inspire ourselves on enlightened photography, to put a brushstroke of color over the black and white.
