It was launched in March 2009, when the FICG, in collaboration with the Berlinale Talents of the Berlin International Film Festival, presented its first edition-then called Talent Campus Guadalajara-, after a successful screening that took place in 2008, during the FICG23 presented as: Visionary campus.

Talents Guadalajara is an intensive meeting between actors, film critics, directors, cinematographers, sound designers, editors, screenwriters and producers from Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean that generates creative exchanges, improves the work of participants, and is weaves a network for aspiring filmmakers of the region to contact with experts from the World’s cinematographic industry. It is not only a cinematographic event, Talents Guadalajara has consolidated itself as the great creative summit where next generation actors, filmmakers and film critics meet, produce creative links, find inspiration and work on their own projects.

Talents Guadalajara also offers a range of international opportunities and collaboration, which are reinforced by the connection that exists with other Talents of the World: Talents Berlinale, Talents Beirut, Talents Buenos Aires, Talents Durban, Talents Sarajevo and Talents Tokyo.

The cinematographic talent of our region is the main interest of Talents Guadalajara.
